DALAHÄST

Dalahäst or dala horse is a typical Swedish symbol. On the first day on our trip to Jämtland we went to visit the factory where these horses are being made. This is in Dalarna. The horses are made in all sizes! From sizes even smaller than a coin up to the size of a statue! These are carved by hand by volunteers in around the village. In the factory, the horses get decorated with several painting layers.
