SKI ÅRE

At 6.00AM Karen, Ineke and I took the train from Linköping to Åre. The train trip took 10 hours. Arriving in the afternoon, we managed to get our skis right before closing hours of the SkiStarshop. Renate from my corridor put me in contact with Elin who works there so we got a discount of 50% for the rental of skis!

We stayed in a B&B which had a nice breakfast (see picture). We watched De Mol and Temptation Island. But nevertheless, we went skiing! 3 days of hitting the slopes till closing hours, YEAH! It had been 5 years when I went skiing, so I was really happy to be able to ski again. Definitely doing this way more in the future!

Of course I ate hamburger with fries in the restaurant, ski forage we call it. It's one of my favorite dishes I must admit. Something that also caught my eye were the wheels on the bikes there. Provided with the right thickness, yup.
