With the Nordic Culture class, we make 3 trips. One to Jämtland, one to the country side and one to the coastline. The first two we have now already done, so next month it's up the coastline for 3 days. We took the bus the Skaggebo with approx. 45 students. The bas had never been this full to go to the country side I suppose. Upon arrival we walked and did a lot of stops to get some more information about the history of the landscape and information about the nature. From Skaggebo, there is a river that flows all the way to Linköping. It begins with the lake Stora Rängen. We have drank water directly from the river. It's not polluted due to no presence of industry or houses near the river. We also walked through one of the untouched (3%) forests in Sweden. All of the other forests have been planted by humans. This is due to the rule of the law: If you harvest one tree, you have to plant two more trees.
